Well as usual I got it wrong; I'm going to start to have him do his own checking on CC - he says he's packing his weight integrated BCD which apparently holds the weights that he will get from the tour operator and will not need a weight belt. He says everytime he has used a regular weight belt he has had to readjust them during the dives so this works better for him. It would have been nice for him to have been more clear on this from the beginning!
