ScottC4746 Posted November 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 27, 2016 Just a few days away from my cruise leaving Saturday. I bumped into a link on RCCL's website about in port shopping and Diamonds International kept popping up. What is the deal with RCCL and DI? Makes me want to avoid DI. Smart choice, IMO. ;) DI is a cruise line "approved" vendor as they guarantee their merchandise via RCI should there be a problem with it down the road. I believe that their prices are higher as a result and a fee is paid to RCI for the privilege - hence the pop up adds.
Retired LEO Posted November 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 27, 2016 A recent investigative report on our local news suggests that Diamonds International be avoided entirely.

Surprised there is not an outlet on board.

No, but there is a store in essentially every US based itinerary port of call.
