cb at sea Posted November 30, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2016 Not much after dark....at least, for kids! There are casinos right across from the dock....but you have to be 18 (I think in Aruba) to go there. There are restaurants within walking distance of the ship. You will have from 1pm until dark to do things like watersport or beach things.... A guidebook might be very helpful, if the regular water activities aren't up your alley! adoptivemommy Posted November 30, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted November 30, 2016 I think we can easily fill in daytime stuff! It's the after dark part that gets me! [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Hatteras51 Posted November 30, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2016 (edited) Take a bus or taxi to Palm Beach. There are tons of restaurants and stores, along with many street vendors. Your 13 year old will love it, and you will enjoy it too. Edited November 30, 2016 by Hatteras51
msmayor Posted January 1, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 1, 2017 We will be in Aruba around the same hours as well in March...and I can't seem to find any tours that start AFTER 1pm...the ones I've seen are all morning tours. I fear I'm locked into a ship excursion because of that. My husband and I are not beach folks, I really want a tour that's going to take us to some of the sights of the island. Not really interested in a dinner tour either, though something that would allow us to view the sunset from a nice spot would be great. Anyone have any experience with planning for these times?
