Coffee makers?

Are there coffee makers in the balcony staterooms on the Summit?

We were in a Sky Suite and no, there was no coffee pot. However, if you have a beverage pkg. you can get great coffee at Cafe Al Baccio!

About the only time a kettle is provided on Celerity is for a heavily British contingent on a cruise out of Harwich or Southhampton.

You can always get coffee by calling room service. A little tip is nice.

Summit does not have kettles and you are not allowed to bring your own

No Celebrity ships have true coffee makers in the regular staterooms. Ships sailing out of England have had kettles and some instant coffee packets, but Summit won't have that. Some people order hot water from room service and bring a portable French Press and some ground coffee and make their own in their staterooms. Or you can order a carafe of coffee from room service.

We had a kettle and tea/coffee tray last month out of Miami, but it is not the norm.

Was this the first cruise after Eclipse's TA? Eclipse sails from Southampton and perhaps they hadn't removed the kettle yet, lucky you.

We have asked for and received kettles on the Summit, Solstice and Equinox. For making tea, not coffee. We were in suites if that makes a difference....we are also from England so perhaps they are sensitive to our weaknesses!

 

They must have a few kettles on board each ship, however, or they could not have offered us one! Worth asking your room attendant or butler on boarding....

 

For coffee we never make in suite the offerings at Cafe El Bachio are just too good!
