teamteddybear Posted December 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2016 Can anyone recommend a moderately priced hotel (less than $150?) in Fort Lauderdale area that provides free parking for duration of cruise and also free shuttle to/from the cruise port? Many thanks. :) Gil
Lido_Deck Posted December 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2016 (edited) Can anyone recommend a moderately priced hotel (less than $150?) in Fort Lauderdale area that provides free parking for duration of cruise and also free shuttle to/from the cruise port? Many thanks. :) Gil La Quinta Inn - FLL offers up to 14 days of free parking with a one night stay, but they do not have a free cruise port shuttle. Hampton Inn - Plantation has a free cruise port shuttle but I do not know about their parking policy. But you can call them and ask: (954) 382-4500. Oh, yeah...What dates are we talking about? Rates very greatly depending on the time of year and events. . Edited December 7, 2016 by Lido_Deck
JohninDC Posted December 7, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 7, 2016 http://www.sunny.org is a great resource for FLL area tourist and hotel info. I would also search http://www.stay123.com and http://www.parksleepfly.com for hotel parking deals. As mentioned above dates are critical to your search - the under $100 room in August can go for $300+ in Jan/Feb
teamteddybear Posted December 7, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted December 7, 2016 Sorry, forgot to mention... March 25-26, 2017 Thanks. Gil
Lido_Deck Posted December 7, 2016 #5 Share Posted December 7, 2016 Sorry, forgot to mention... March 25-26, 2017 Thanks. Gil Yeah, good luck keeping it under $150 (especially with parking) for that date. With a AAA discount you're looking at $202.50 at La Quinta and $233 at Hampton Inn with a Hilton Honors discount. You better book ASAP because rates will go nowhere but up.

Rates are just crazy and parking/shuttle service rates are not as promoted on many websites. Is this Spring Break time in FLL? Gil
Rare John&LaLa Posted December 7, 2016 #7 Share Posted December 7, 2016 Sorry, forgot to mention... March 25-26, 2017 Thanks. Gil I'm looking at same time frame, think I'm leaning towards 2 one way rentals. That is about $150. We are on 3 weeks, 10/11 nights on Serenade

Is this Spring Break time in FLL?Gil Pretty much the entire month of March is Spring Break. Two, one way rentals may be your best answer dropping at MIA and taking the free shuttle to the POM. I believe the shuttle is shared by Enterprise, National, Alamo, Thrifty and Budget.
