tw67 Posted December 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2016 On our last cruise we had the Mongolian Wok, not Chopsticks. I was curious if anyone found anything gluten free in Chopsticks?
Rare crewsweeper Posted December 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 15, 2016 You would need to inquire about what thickening agent was used in the sauces (cornstarch is okay, flour is not), but if you stay away from the obvious wheat noodles, dumplings, etc., you'll probably find a number of things. Doggielover68 Posted December 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2016 They have low sodium soy sauce if you ask for it. I prefer that over the other sauces Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
SadieN Posted December 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted December 15, 2016 (edited) They have low sodium soy sauce if you ask for it. I prefer that over the other sauces Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app Thanks for the info. Chopsticks is salty enough already. Normal soy sauce has gluten. I'd be extremely concerned about cross contamination. Edited December 15, 2016 by SadieN

tw67 Posted December 17, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted December 17, 2016 Thanks. My son is great about asking the right questions, but I was curious what others found. Thanks again for the responses! Sillyjilly Posted December 17, 2016 #7 Share Posted December 17, 2016 Most everything seems to be made the same with lots of salt. Don't know if I'd trust it to be gluten free. They do have a vegetarian dish on occasion. After eating there twice everything starts tasting the same. You really won't be missing much.

I am not a fan myself, but my husband and kids usually are. Sent from my LG-H810 using Forums mobile app
