Pearl Seas Cruises

We were scheduled to go to Cuba on the Pearl Mist in November. We booked this trip early in 2016. Pearl Seas did not tell us they were working on getting permits for all the ports. They took our deposit AND final payment and then cancelled 5 days before the cruise as they still did not have permits. They also did not inform us that they had changed ports from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale. We learned that by chance. We received our refund for the cruise within a week. We were told to submit our other expenses (nonrefundable air and hotel) to be reviewed. Pearl Seas now has permits for Cuba. They will only refund part of our nonrefundable expenses and only in the form of a credit if we book another cruise. Pearl Seas is rather amateurish and we will not go with them ever. Unfortunate, as we cruise a couple of times a year and wanted to try them.
