QM2 Laundry

Are there any laundromat facilities on the QM2? I much prefer to do my own laundry as I've had more than one bad experience with ship's laundry services.

WHAT? You do not have to pay to do laundry??

In May there was no charge for machines or soap. Ít was a busy place some days. If there's no soap just call down to purser's office to have the pail re-filled.

There's also a laundry on deck 10 forward. We used it a couple of times and it was excellent. The powder is free as are the tubs and dryers. We took our own detergent as well as fabric softener sheets for the dryer. The iron and board are OK.

 

Use the laundry early in the morning and it should be relatively quiet.:)

I think there is a laundry room on almost all the decks with staterooms. There is one on deck 11 forward across from room 11006. Enjoy your time on the QM2. She is a beautiful ship.
