Quick question on class of ships, thanks!

Please correct me if I am wrong, but the "away" class ships (Getaway and Breakaway) are the large new ships and every other ship is the same size?

Not really accurate, no.

 

In addition to the link above, the Wikipeda entry has some good info on the size, class and age of the ships in NCL's fleet.

The Escape and Epic are biggest.

 

Then you have the away ships.

 

Then a big drop in size to the Jewel Class (Gem , Jewel , Jade, Pearl) closely followed by the slightly smaller Dawn Class (Dawn and Star)

 

Then the older smaller ships (Pride of America, Sky & Sun)

Especially, the Gem. I cruised in it twice and will do again on February 27th.

It is not too big or too small. It is just right.

I will not cruise on any ship that is larger. You just get lost in the crowds of passengers.
