Transportation Port Of Miami - Port Everglades on a Sunday

We are looking for a way to get from Port of Miami to Port Everglades on a Sunday (12 February -17).

Last year we took SAS Transportation from POM to Fort Lauderdale airport and then a cab to Port Everglades, this year we are looking for a rental car instead.

What we need: A rental car from POM or a free shuttle from POM to a rental car office. A free shuttle from the rental car office in Fort Lauderdale to Port Everglades.

What options do we have?

National, Alamo & Thrifty offer free shuttles between POM and their MIA airport location.

I'm not a FLL car rental expert, but I believe Alamo offers a shuttle to PE -- some of the locals will chime in shortly.

If that sounds like too many moves you could Uber POM to PE for about $40 - no changing vehicles, moving bags, etc.

Thanks for the replys.

Lyft / Uber would be time effective, but we have never used them before and I guess that you have to use internet to book them. Not sure that I want to use data in the U.S, could end up with a expensive phone bill if I did..
