Tampa Airport to Tampa cruise port, car rental?

Do any of the car rental agency's have a free shuttle to port? If not how much is a cab? Is a cab the best price? What is the closest car rental drop off near the cruise port?

Cab from TPA to the port is $25+tip

 

Hertz and Avis have hotel locations close to the port (a few blocks) and will usually shuttle -- you may pay a higher fare to use these locations, so price it out. Enterprise has an office close (2-3 miles) to the port and will shuttle you.

Don't bother...Uber is awesome in Tampa and always readily available. They will drop you off directly at the Terminal Baggage Drop. Fees are much better than a cab.

Closest car rental is Avis in the Embassy Suites hotel. If they are not too busy, they will take you to the port for free.
