Cabo whale watching in March?

We will be in Cabo at the end of March. Is this really too late to see any whales? I would love to go on a excursion; however, I don't want to waste my money and time, and never see any. Thanks!

I read that they are from December to April but nothing is guaranteed

It is getting late in the season..unlike Hawaii, it seems the whales head out sooner.

We spent a week in Cabo in early March a couple of years ago. In the beginning of the week there were loads of whales, but towards the end of the week we hardly saw any.
