Internet package in board - please could someone explain?

If we are a family of 5 so I purchase for one adult for 5 devices?

 

We just want Internet for texting/email rather have than streaming but it seems to be one in the same package. It totals £271.97 for our 8 night cruise so £54.39 per person. Have I understood this correctly?

Correct, one package of 5 devices will be sufficient for your family, as long as you can live with having only 5 devices are logged in at a time. Can't speak to the package prices in GBP.

If you are not all going to be on together you could book for less devices and share.

We always do the package for one device...there are three of us. The only time we use the Ipad is at night to send out our daily email and update to our families.

We shared one device package last time. They gave you an access code on a slip of paper attached to your seapass and whenever someone wanted to use it, they just typed in the access code. Anyways, we aren't going to do it next time as we are going to Mexico (AT&T gives us free coverage in MX), but Voom took away from the cruising experience. I was always on my phone sadly, so not buying it this time! I could spend that money on other things.

I purchase just for one person and share it with my husband. Although if I was travelling with teenagers or very young adults I'd probably buy an extra one as they're always on the phones/tablets/ipads - I can imagine the arguments over access!
