SS Exeter Posted January 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2017 While we love Chinese Food - hubby doesn't like anything too hot or too spicey. Reading JiJi's menue it all looks wonderful - but words like Hot or Spicy seem to fill the descriptions of the food. I know everyone's taste is different - but would appreciate your take on JiJi's. Is it all hot & spicy???
pcvtmom Posted January 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2017 Ji Ji's was an amazing dining experience for us! If you ask the wait staff for less spicy options, they will be glad to help you decide. Nothing we had was overly spicy, but it was all absolutely delicious! We dined at JiJi one night on Vista Transatlantic. What an excellent meal! Just ask the servers to make it less spicy.
Computer Nerd Posted January 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2017 Absolutely loved JiJis on the Sunshine last year. Just as an FYI, JiJis is Japanese food, not Chinese food. There is a difference. For $15, give it a try.
MarcelLucSell Posted January 12, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 12, 2017 We enjoyed it on SunShine. I do remember some if it being spicy, but I like spicy. It was so much food and well worth it for dinner.
Rosethorn40 Posted January 12, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 12, 2017 JiJi's on the Vista has dishes inspired by Asia. For example one of our main courses was a beef dish inspired by Mongolian food (Not that spicy). The night we ate there I didn't want anything too spicy and we had plenty to choose from. For appetizers we shared Spring Rolls & Duck, and the main course was the Mongolian Beef and Pork. For sides fried rice & broccoli. It was the best meal we had on ship. vamartha Posted January 12, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 12, 2017 I thought JiJi's was wonderful and I'm looking forward to sailing again on a ship that has it. Something I ordered was pretty spicy, had to go look at the menu to remember it was the Kung Pao Chicken. Everything else was fantastic (and so was the Kung Pao, but it was spicy)! Cruzlover7 Posted January 13, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 13, 2017 We ate twice at Ji Ji's and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nothing was too spicy for us. You should definitely try it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
