Here is how we did it:

Port of Miami at 8:30 a.m.

Doors to waiting area opened at 9:00 a.m.

Security about 9:45

Head to checkin after filling out Health form

Waiting area to get boarding group number

About 10:30 stood by embarkation entrance

Boarded and took steps down to deck 6

We were #'s 22,23,24 and 25 to get the passes.

Good Luck! Vibe was great!

I think they started boarding terminal B first then terminal C.

Can we choose whether to go to terminal B or C or will we be told which to go to? First time out of Miami for us. We'd like to get Vibe passes as well and if B gets on first...

Terminal is based on the deck your room is on. Odd decks versus even decks. Your roomkeys are only in one terminal.

Hopefully Miami will switch to giving latitude platinum members followed by gold members followed by bronze members priority boarding.

so, guys when you do your on-line check in is that when you choose early boarding? Or NCL just assigns it to you? For deck 12 on the even side is there a certain terminal do you know that would be used for that area? And even after do you on-line check in can you still go early to the ship and be allowed to board at 9 or 10 etc?

B or C terminal will show on edocs!

As long as you are one of the first ones to board in either terminal you should be good.

How do I find out what terminal we are in? We are on deck 9. I just want to know ahead of time, not for Vibe passes.

Thank you.

That's very similar to what we did in Dec, except I think we arrived to port at 8:45 or 9:00 am. The rest was very similar timing. We asked staff to double check we were sitting in the right spot near the embarkation door. We sat right next to the bathrooms, as close to the embarkation door as we could get. When they started to call passengers with priority boarding and wheelchairs, we went and stood by the entrance (not blocking the entrance but just to the side, right where the employee was calling people). That made a big difference for us and once they called our number (boarding group two) we were the first ones on after the wheel chairs.

We didn't run, or even race-walk, but we did move once called without stopping and boarded, and went right down the closest stairs to Headliners. We were #18 and #19.

Good Luck!

No. That will get you thrown off the ship. And you can enjoy your cruise from the dock in Miami.

Do they stop you to take your picture as you board like they do on other cruise lines? If so, did you stop?

They will be set up to take pictures, simply pass them by without stopping...If the people in front of you stop for a picture pass them by as well...
