Port of GSC disembark and embark question

I was thinking of booking a small cabana while in port but while doing some research I stumbled upon this:

"Due to security reasons, all guests must be on board 2 hours before sailing. Disembarkation usually begins 2 hours after docking."

If the itinerary states arrival and departure times as being 10am-6pm does that mean we cannot leave the ship until 12pm and then must return by 4pm? This will greatly affect my decision to spend that much money on a cabana if true.

The last tender is 30 mins. prior to sailaway....at all ports, you will need to be ON the ship 30 mins. prior to stated sailaway time. It's only upon BOARDING THE SHIP FOR THE 1st time, that you need to be ON the ship 2 hours prior.
