reilly1 Posted January 28, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2017 On our last 14 night cruise, we had to wait twice. About 15 minutes. They gave us a buzzer and we went for a drink. No problem. Sent from my iPad using Forums
NantahalaCruiser Posted February 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2017 Sailing in Aqua for the 1st time. Is there ever a wait for a table in Blu for Aqua Class guests? Only during the peak time - e.g. 7:00 to 8:00. If you get there right at the opening time you will absolutely have no wait and will generally be able to get one of the window tables for two. bobndee Posted February 8, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2017 We were on the Summit for a week last August. We never had to wait for a table, going to eat around 6:30 to 7 PM. In fact, we usually ended up at the same waiter's table each evening.

LuckyLeif Posted June 20, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 20, 2017 Just came off the Summit sailing from Cape Liberty to Bermuda. We had to wait three times for a table for two in Blu on a seven day cruise. Blu opened for dinner seating each day at 5:30pm. On the second night we arrived at 6:15pm and were given a buzzer and sent to Cellar Masters to wait. Were told wait should be 20 minutes and took 30. Next night arrived at 6:30pm and were given a buzzer and told we had to wait (couple before us got in). This time wait was closer to 40 minutes and the couple after us got buzzed first. I went the Maitre d' who said our buzzer may not be working and he seated us. Next night arrived at 5:45pm and had to wait about 10 minutes at the Maitre D' desk. He told us that all waiters were getting the main courses and we would not be served if seated immediately. 4 couples were held up before we were seated at this time. At no time did we manage to get a window seat and were often on the third row. We speculated that the majority of diners must have been queued up waiting for it to open. Rare Miaminice Posted June 20, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 20, 2017 8 cruises in a row in AQ. On all the cruises we maybe had to wait 4 times - and we like to go around 7 pm, which a a popular time, and prefer to have the same waiter. We did not mind waiting either. Went to the bar, got a drink and when the buzzer did its dance, we took our drinks with us to Blu. All in all I would say: relax, you are on vacation!
