Rare Norwaylady Posted January 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2017 Hello CC Has anyone stayed in the 4-bedroom family suite that can have 14guests? We "always" cruise X but we would like to bring the rest of the family. They have never been on a cruise and we think that royal will fit the age group better. We will be 4 children from 7-14 and 6 adults. So total 10 and possible for 2.adults more, then we are 12... An option we are thinking of is 2 aqua 2-bedrooms theatre staterooms? As we understand, in the 4-bedsuite it will be very crowded if we need the pull-man beds. And we do... We tried to watch on youtube, and it looks a litte bit thigh.Has anyone tried? Hope to hear some thoughts on this....
cb at sea Posted January 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2017 There is absolutely NO WAY I'd put that many in one space. Even with a couple separate rooms, it's too close for comfort, for me! Some folks are VERY close and don't mind it. I would....A LOT! I like to have my own space.
Poohb Posted January 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2017 Watched the youtube vid. I wonder how much the 4 bedroom costs. Not that I could afford it for our 8 family members.
ARCruisinNana Posted January 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2017 Watched the youtube vid. I wonder how much the 4 bedroom costs. Not that I could afford it for our 8 family members. Prices vary with time of year. I would estimate $1500-2000 per person. Sent from my iPad using Forums
sanger727 Posted January 29, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2017 After watching YouTube tours of both, would hands down go with the 4 bedroom suite. The 4 bedroom suite seems roughly the square foot of 2 of the 2 bedroom suites, but all the bedrooms look more spacious (important for the 1-2 rooms that will have 4 people in them. MrsPete Posted January 29, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 29, 2017 I'd rather get a bunch of balcony cabins all in a line ... and have the cabin steward open up the balcony dividers. We've done this, and it's GREAT. You can come and go between rooms using the balconies, yet you get more bathrooms. And I suspect it'd cost less than those overpriced suites. Sparkymedic Posted January 29, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 29, 2017 We stayed in the 4 bedroom suite on freedom and would do it again. We had 11 family members and it never felt crowded. One the balcony is huge and easily fit everyone with room to spare. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
