Cruiser-66 Posted January 31, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2017 Leaving Sunday for our cruise on the Coral. Just wondering which dinning room is used for set time dinning. Also what's your recommendation for lunch on embarkation? Any advice you can share is welcome. We are very excited!!
Cruisin' Chick Posted January 31, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2017 If you want to learn about dining options, this is from the Princess web site (lots of info on your ship if you look around the site): http://www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/food-and-dining/dining-options.pdf You can look on the deck plans for the Coral to find the actual names and locations for the dining rooms (at least one should be exclusively traditional dining for dinner). the first day Patter that will be in your cabin will give you specific info about all the venues (location and hours). If you board too late to eat in the dining room that's open for lunch on embarkation day, you can go to the Horizon Court, the International Cafe, or the poolside pizzeria and grill. WupperAV Posted January 31, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2017 We just go to the Horizons. Have found food to be as good Quality there as anywhere aboard. Seafood and Lamb (medeterranean style) Breakfast with made to order eggs and a huge variety from continental to Asian to Us styles. Personal Choice Dining is available in the Bordeaux Dining Room from 5:30pm to 10:00pm for dinner.

Rare stevenr597 Posted January 31, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 31, 2017 Bordeaux is anytime dining. Relatively to get a table after 8:00 PM. Buffet on the Lido, I would suggest using it for lunch

Good way to get a feel for Horizon Court the first day. Lunch in the DR will be a limited offering and takes longer. I would rather have to extra time to wander the ship and get oriented...go back to the cabin every so often and check for your luggage arrival and unpack then get ready for muster drill.
