Also what time are the shows on the Star. There usually two shows . There is one for early traditional and late traditional. Anytime seems to peak around opening. See the early show and have a late anytime dinning.
tailspintom Posted January 31, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2017 There usually two shows . There is one for early traditional and late traditional. Anytime seems to peak around opening. See the early show and have a late anytime dinning. The last few cruises have had a three show program on most sea days. This format seems to spread the ATD across a broader timeline. I kind of like it because it shortens the show length a bit.

Astro Flyer Posted January 31, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2017 When are peak times for Any Time Dining -- in other words, when is best time to avoid long wait time. Also what time are the shows on the Star. We recently disembarked the Star but had early traditional in the Amalfi DR so don't have any ATD experience. My general ATD experiences have been that arriving when opening (5:00 on our Hawaii cruise) or after the 2nd ATD restaurant opens at about 7:30 were the least crowded times. Many passengers seem to prefer to dine between 6:00 & 7:00 resulting in delays to be seated. However there isn't a ship that could handle too many passengers who wanted to eat at the same time. The ship's itinerary seems to be another factor. Nearly all Princess Theater performances were at 7:45 & 9:45 and rarely at 7:00 & 9:00.

Times Prince Posted February 1, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 1, 2017 When are peak times for Any Time Dining -- in other words, when is best time to avoid long wait time. Also what time are the shows on the Star.We have found that peak times for people arriving are right after the shows let out. Get there about 15 minutes earlier and you have a chance.
