Booking process changes since 2013?

Hi all,

I'm looking to book a cruise this spring, and I was wondering what is currently the most effective way to go about this (this is a last minute trip so rescheduling, or repeated checking for price drops are not considerations) Last time, I used a site that aggregated offers from TAs, who generally returned similar prices, with varying amounts of OBC. Is that still a viable option? Also, there's a travel expo in town next weekend. Is it worth it to go talk to some of the agencies that have booths set up there, and see if their prices are comparable?

Yes, you can use the same site you used last time. That is a very good idea. The only way a travel agency would be able to offer lower prices than RCI is if they have booked a large number of cabins as a "group" rate.
