Amsterdam bicycle tour while on Tulips and Windmills

I will be on the Tulips and Windmills river cruise with Viking at the end of March/beginning of April and would like to take a bicycle tour around the outskirts of Amsterdam, or possibly around the city while we are there. Does anyone have any particular tour that you could recommend or ones to stay away from? Also, how far away from the riverboat would the tour depart?

I am not familiar with tours done by Viking. But if you ever get to Keukenhof you can rent bikes there. However end of March.beginning of April might be a bit too early for many flowers in the field.https://keukenhof.nl/en/discover-the-park/activities/

Apart from that at many railway station you can rent bikes.

Thanks for your help. I will look into the websites you provided. Although we are traveling on Viking, we will be in Amsterdam for several days prior and are really looking for a local tour company to do a bike tour outside of Amsterdam. You are so right about the bike traffic in the city. That probably would be too dangerous for us.

You might want to look at the tours offered on viator.com for Amsterdam. There are bicycle tours, both in-city and countryside.
