My bridal party and I decided to take a quick weekend cruise to Nassau on the victory for my bachelorette party. Excited about having used carnival before, we booked the cruise. I started looking at reviews.online after and saw a LOT of negative reviews about this boat. Now I am having serious sec9nd thoughts.

Has anyone ever been on this ship? Can you give me.some feedback? Thanks in advance!

We were on the Victory in December. We really enjoyed it. It is an older ship, with lots of character. The service we received from everyone (waiters, room steward, guest services, bar staff) was very consistent & awesome. I found the service better than on the Breeze.

We had a newly upgraded room (they are completely done deck 6 & under)

Is the ship perfect? Nope.

Would I go on the Victory again? Yep, without hesitation

Hi:

I have been on this ship, it's an older ship. I had a balcony cabin, no refrigerator. I hated the décor and still had a great time! Your going to celebrate your wedding, go and have a good time!

There's always going to be some negative reviews. Your cruise is going to be what you make it, once you get on, get thru the muster drill, let the safe fun begin!

I have been to Nassau many times, last time we visited the Straw Market, and took a cab to a free beach, can't remember the name of the beach.

Congratulations on your marriage! Go, be safe and conquer Victory!

My wife and I sailed Victory in November. We had a blast! Don't listen to negative reviews. I've found that they are way overblown. The Vic is a wonderful ship with an amazingly friendly crew. Good food, fun atmosphere. You will have a great time.

We also were a little hesitant to book the Victory due the reviews, but I tend to take them with a grain of salt. I would think about the negatives that people were complaining about and some were silly, others were good things to be aware of. Only 1 turn down service? I didn't care about that. Cold food on the Lido? Did they walk around forever trying to find the perfect spot to eat? Probably...the lido deck can be windy. The service was rude? How were they to the staff? Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly! How were the people they were traveling with? Sometimes all it takes is 1 party pooper to ruin a great vacation. We had a GREAT time on the Victory and would booker her again in a heartbeat. Have a great time!!!!

We ran into a few bachelor and bachelorette parties on the Victory. Everyone seemed to be having fun. There's lots to do at night for a younger crowd; casino, dance club, comedy club, piano bar. The dining room food is good and the rooms are a decent size compared to other ships. You'll be fine.

It's been 3 years, but the Victory was a great party ship when we went in 2014. I think any of those short 4 day runs lend themselves to that kind of atmosphere and thus you should have a great time.

She is older, but one of our favs....

Don't blame you it's an old clunker.

Keep in mind that for every bad review there are hundreds of people who had a great time and just didn't post about it.

My thoughts exactly! You and your friends will have a great time! Congratulations on your wedding and enjoy your time with you friends on your trip!

There are negative and positive reviews on every ship for every cruise someone takes and keep in mind two things. Those reviews, good or bad, are based on the writer's personal preferences and experiences. You may have a similar experience or a totally different one. My constant advice to cruisers is to pack a good, healthy attitude first. Resolve yourself that nothing is going to ruin your cruise. Your cruise will be what you make it as has already been said many times, but it will be your cruise, your opinions, and your experiences. Don't discount every bad thing you read nor accept every positive thing you read either. Take it all under advisement and draw your own conclusions based on your own preferences and experiences. Chances are, it won't be like anything you've read one way or the other in totality. Your cruise will be like everybody else - individually unique only to you.

Go and have a great time with your new bride and congrats!

I have been on the Victory twice in the last year and loved it. We had a great time both trips. Once was a girls trip and the second time was for my husbands birthday. Sure it doesn't have the 2.0 upgrades but the staff is amazing, the service is great and its a really nice ship. I love the seahorses. Go and you will have a great time. I am cruising the Liberty in 15 days and it will be my first time sailing with the 2.0 upgrades.....
