Yes, you may bring as much soda and water onboard as you like. Many people have now decided that the new Princess water package is far easier than schlepping their own case of water aboard. I can't understand why so many want to pay for bottled water that came from some municipal tap. The water on the ship is at least as "pure" as most bottled water and it's free.

are we allowed to bring a 12 pack of soda and water bottles on Princess? I know we are allowed to on Carnival.

Actually on Carnival you are only allowed to bring canned soda, water or other non-alcoholic beverages. Nothing in plastic bottles anymore.

So good thing your next cruise is on Princess where bottled sodas and water are fine.

You can bring any soda pop, water etc on the ship as long as it is non-alcoholic and in a sealed container. Bottles or cans make no difference. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the difference between carnival and princess. If you are a military veteran don't forget to claim your OBC.
