1) is there a formal night in MDR with lobster? If so, which night?

2) is there an 'adults only' area outside that's quiet to read, relax other than VIBE?

3) couldn't get specialty dining room reservations. Once onboard, is it a problem to get reservations?

1) There's "dress up or not" night, so no formal requirement to dress up. From what I've seen, lobster is available at an additional charge in the MDR.

2) It's not adults only, but the Waterfront is not nearly as overrun with kiddos as the pool deck would be. Spice H20 is probably a little raucous for reading, but is a nice adults only area during the day.

3) Download the iConcierge app prior to boarding, then once close enough to the ship, connect to its WiFi and use iConcierge to book your dining reservations as much more availability opens up once on board.

There are no formal nights on NCL cruises. The second night through the penultimate night will have people dressing up and taking pictures. The dress code and all restaurants except le bistro and ocean blue allow for shorts and collared shirts to be one by gentleman. Most people do try to dress up a little for dinner and you only see a few gentleman with shorts and the specialty restaurants, although it is allowed. Free lobster went away years ago.

Spice H2O is an adults only area. Also the thermal suites.

use the touchscreen kiosk in all public areas to make your dinner reservations. Dinner reservations will sell out during prime time. Cagney and teppanyaki are most popular and prime time sell out.
