going on anthem 7/1/17 wanted late seat dining told sold out went to my time dining and the latest reservation was for 7 pm waaaay too early for us is there any wait list we could get on or is there a chance something for late seating will open up closer to sailing date ant suggestions ?

As with any ship, times can open up as you get closer to sail date. You have to keep checking. You can also visit the MDR and speak to the maitre d' when you board and ask for a later time.

Ask to be waitlisted for the late traditional dining. It doesn't hurt, and you may get your request.

I just got an email from Royal we had your time and were wait listed for dining for March we are now assigned :)

That seems very odd to me. Usually the later times are QUITE available. I would just wait until boarding and either use the Royal IQ app or go to the people at the podiums outside the dining rooms. I think that you will have success.

Sorry I am a bit confused. We have my time dining at 6. Are we assigned dining places or do we need to also make reservations? If so, in any of the 4 free ones?

You will be assigned a dining room, nothing more to do.
