shirazcruiser Posted February 19, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2017 The Concierge emails GS and above regarding Coastal Kitchen. JS can make reservations onboard for CK with no problems.

Do you know where she is. I prefer to avoid any ship she is on. I'd like to take a friend on the Brilliance and would love to hear she's gone. The concierge is a perk for GS and above and while JS's do get the perk of dining at CK it us only available to book on board and subject to availability. Making reservations is a perk for GS and above.

I know on the FAQ it says that it's only available for GS and above but Nowhere does it say it's a perk but you only get the leftovers that other suites have left you. We have a party of 8 in 3 JS and would like to be able to enjoy the perk as advertised. Sent from my iPad using Forums
cruisinforabruising Posted February 19, 2017 Author #9 Share Posted February 19, 2017 This should be up front and told to people when booking. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Sent from my iPad using Forums When you board go to the entrance to CK and meet with the attendant and make your reservation. We are in a CL1 and make our reservations when we board. Never had a problem getting time and day we want. We have had dinner some nights in the restuarant where it was completely full at 7:30 and other nights when 1/3 tables were empty for over 2 hours. Sent from my iPad using Forums Nowhere on their literature that I have found does it specifically mention that advance reservations are allowed for any of the suite classes. It only states reservations are required. Others have reported that if you make your way to CK right upon boarding then you should have no issues with making reservations. I happen I didn't come across as snotty in my reply. We tend to eat earlier out of habit because of our 1 and 4 year olds so we just want to maintain that routine. Like most people I wish this stuff would have been better explained at booking and CS would have a clue. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Sent from my iPad using Forums I agree with you on the fact that Royals website quite often is lacking in some details that would be nice to have. Just make your way up to CK when you board and you shouldn't have any issues. FYI, your Seapass card won't open the door to CK so you will have to knock or wait for someone else to enter and walk in with them.

I assume that's because of the suite lounge that offers cocktails for GS and up. This will be our avg between all guests 4th time on the ship and we are looking forward to trying something new.
