Epic: Question about Norwegian app

has anyone tried this? Can you use your phone to call within the ship (not ship to shore) also can you text with in the ship?

Cost? I know we have to down load the app. Before we board.

It's great. Glitches occasionally, close and open app again. Think around $10.95 per device.

each device needs to be registered and paid for. Then you can phone eachother onboard the ship. text eachother on the ship. Call ship to shore for $0.79 per minute (vs $2.99 pp for most US carriers).

If you all use iPhones, you don't need to buy the device package....iMessage works just by putting your iPhone in airplane mode and then connecting to the ships wifi (the free wifi that allows you to use the NCL app).

 

My kids were even able to iMessage friends at home.

Brother in his own cabin has a Iphone. Hubby and I only have a tracfone. Can a tracfone use this app too?
