Smallfamily Posted March 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2017 We are in port from 7-8pm. Looking for the must see things. We love to be active walking around exploring not in groups. Do not enjoy shopping. Would like to go up in the needle (not to eat) if anyone has info on that. Would prefer to plan a walking tour if possible. If not we could uber some of it. Thx everyone :) Sent from my iPhone using Forums
CruiserBruce Posted March 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2017 If you look on the West Coast Departures board, there are dozens of threads on Seattle, things to see and do, etc.

Sequim88 Posted March 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) Looks like Infinity on May 25th right? Docks for day stop at Pier 66 which is basically right downtown. Visiting Seattle Center (where Space Needle is) is good but the better view by far (especially if not eating there) is from the top of the Columbia Center. Taller building sitting on higher ground. Space Needle is an icon for sure but not the best view unless.... you want a picture of the Seattle skyline with Mt. Rainier behind it (if it is even visible). And there are better views for that too but not as easy to get to. Check out the Seattle FAQ sticky thread at the top of West Coast Departures. Here are some video links that might be useful: http://www.visitseattle.org/tv/ (some give a good sense of the "vibe" of the city and area. http://www.johnroderick.com/heyseattle/ (a bunch of one-minute answers to specific questions) Edited March 6, 2017 by Sequim88
