Drinks, Sushi on 5

Yes, assuming it isn't packed. I mean I would feel awkward taking up a table if I was only having a drink. Every time we went there was more than enough open seating so it shouldn't be a problem.

I suspect that was the plan with So5 now that so many people have the beverage packages. Get people to come in to grab a drink (the cocktails look great, and the sake and even beer offerings are very intriguing) and while they're there sell them on the small plates. It's already worked on my DW and me and we're not even onboard yet.

The cocktails ARE great! We enjoyed them several times without ordering food. When we did have dinner, that was great, too.

You might be able to get you to make whatever your drink is at the World Class Bar -- the drinks for SO5 are made there as well. I did not attempt this - but it's worth a shot.

 

 

I attempted it on the Eclipse......FAIL! The bartender would not make the drink.
