Question about on board credit

Hi there -

If we have funds left over on our OBC account after our cruise in a few weeks, can we just keep those funds "on file" for another cruise we have in July? Or do we need to cash it out and re-establish the account for that cruise?

Thanks in advance ;p

each cruise is a different account, no funds carry over

depending on the OBC you have, it may be refundable and non-refundable. Non-refundable OBC is used first and can not be returned to you, use it or lose it. Refundable OBC can be refunded back to you

by default, the ship automatically cashes out your account for you if there is a $10+ dollar balance, you will receive a check in the mail after the cruise.

On the last night, if you have non-refundable OBC remaining, just cash it out using the casino trick. If you have refundable left, just cash it out at the kiosk. You can then apply those funds when you board your next cruise.

A refundable onboard credit is one in which someone (you, travel agent, etc.) has actually paid funds for or could be an amount added to your account instead of a refund for a price drop. A non-refundable onboard credit is one that may be given to you by the cruiseline as part of a promotion when you booked.

Perfect - thank you!
