Paradise Beach or Mr. Sancho's

We will have a group of 8 in Cozumel next week. We've narrowed our choices to Paradise Beach or Mr. Sancho's. Our group has 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 11-15). The kids will want to do the water inflatables (the more extreme the better). The adults will be having a few drinks and food. Not really looking for an all inclusive deal. Recommendations?

Flip a coin! I think the pool at PB is a bit larger than the non-IA pools at MS. And there have been some posts here recently about walk-ups to MS being pushed to go the AI route. Not sure how true that is But otherwise, you're getting the same beach stretch, same water, same/similar amenities and facilities.

Everyone in our group was asked to pay $20.00 fee for food and drink

The website still states $10pp and recent TripAdvisor reports support this figure. Are you sure the charge wasn't for a couple, or did you purchase water passes?

That seems like a big increase to have gone unnoticed on here!

Nope. We were informed of this when we paid our $3.00 at the bar when we got our first drink.

And I stayed at the pool all day...no water toys.

So I guess it just depends who ya are. I would still go back there again depending on the group I was traveling with. But it would take a lot for me to bypass Mr. Sanchos
