Guaranteed State Room

We are thinking about going for a guaranteed JS for 1300 extra. We are sailing on the Anthem on 4/17. The only problem is getting a suite with obstructed view. Can anyone help me who has gotten a guaranteed suite with what to expect (I know at least a JS) but chances of obstruct view or not or upgrade or not? And how long should we wait if we decide to book it?

Guarantees come and go, so I wouldn't wait long at all - they can be gone within hours. Not sure how many obstructed view JSs there are, but you could always ask to be moved if you are in NA. Chances of getting an upgrade? Roll of the dice.

We ended up with a GS once from a JS GTY.

We decided to go for it, it was an extra 1295$ so will get back to this post to inform what we ended up with. Thanks for all the input.:D
