Smokey Oasis

A friend just got off Oasis and said there was lots of smoking...especially by the pool. What are the smoking rules on Oasis? Is there usually lots of smoking? Hoping not on the April 2 since it's spring break for many families...

There was a small smoking section on the port side of deck 15. It's on the opposite side of the kids area. It's very avoidable. We spent all sea days at the beach pool and only stumbled into this area once when we went in search of the popcorn cart. I definitely didn't think Oasis was smokey.

If your friend thinks Oasis is smokey tell them to never sail NCL Breakaway.😉

The top outdoor decks are so huge....you will have no trouble going to the opposite side of the ship from the smoking section to stay way clear of smoke. Never had an issue on a sold out Allure cruise.

Oasis was not smoky at all. Actually, I thought it was the least smoky ship I have been on.

I found the pool bars on Allure very smokey. Never did get a drink there unless I wanted to hold my breath.

Just off Oasis where my DH is a vacation smoker (rarely does it at home but he does it on vacations - ugh). Anyway, avoid the casino (esp later in the cruise) on deck 4 and on 15 the bar that is called the "Pool Bar". It is on the opposite side of the kids area - lots of space between the two so smoke doesnt invade the kids side. Forward from that as that is all smoking and above "Pool Bar" on 16. If you see "Pool Bar" turn around and go a different way.

 

Other than those designated areas I never smelled any smoke from anyplace else. Enjoy your trip!
