Nic6318 Posted March 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2017 Hi there All the beaches in Mexico are free to roam. What you sometime have to pay for is access. Generally a beach club...buy a few drinks, have a snack to eat and you can use their facilities and enjoy yourself for very little. What are completely free, would be Public Beaches. You can find more information about specific beaches online. Just check trip advisor and do a search for public beaches in Cozumel. Of course you wouldn't have the same facilities or atmosphere, but if that's what you are looking for they are there. hope this helps have a great cruise
cruisinqt Posted March 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2017 We like to go to Paradise beach. It's free to use but if you want to use the water toys (and you will) it was $12 per person last time we went. They have snorkel gear, floatie mats, floating trampoline, floating iceberg, floating obstacle course, etc. They also have nice indoor showers and bathrooms. And a restaurant, bar, beachside pool, and shop. It's our go to place in Cozumel. 😊
htkodiak Posted March 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Playa Corona was free last time we went . It's about 8 $ cab ride.Small mom and pop place. They don't have all the bells and whistles of some of the bigger places but very clean. They have a small bar that serves food, lounge chairs ,hammocks, and palapas for shade. maldenmusic Posted March 14, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Playa Palancar is free but the taxi ride is a bit pricey since it is at the SW tip of the island.
