What 'SHOULD' I be paying in port taxes?

Trying to get my ducks in a row before I call RCCL back. I am booked directly having booked a next cruise while on board 2 weeks ago with the intention of moving it to the Symphony TA when it opened. I called and moved my booking on March 8th. Port taxes on the original onboard booking was $174.91 pp. I was charged $130pp when I switched to the Symphony TA. I read several posts saying that port taxes were overcharged on original bookings, they are now $70.37pp. I tried calling and the very sweet agent had me on hold for a long time going back and forth between myself and resolutions to finally tell me I would need to rebook to get the new price. Needless to say the current price is much more than my current booking. Secondly, I added 2 people to my reservation yesterday add am also being charged $130pp for them.

 

So my 2 questions...1) Should I be able to change the charges for myself and husband on our original booking? and 2) What should I be charged for the 2 people added yesterday?

If it's all the same reservation/cabin, the addition of 2 people may trigger a reprice in which case the new taxes should be charged. You should be able to get the taxes fixed on your original booking. As always, call back and talk to someone else.
