Rare nbsjcruiser Posted March 23, 2017 Author #30 Share Posted March 23, 2017 On one of the at sea days they did a cooking demo in the theatre The back of the Sushi Bar in the Piazza The Piazza decorated for Mardi Gras - Pictures aren't capable of portraying the size of the Atrium on this ship but I'll try
Rare nbsjcruiser Posted March 23, 2017 Author #31 Share Posted March 23, 2017 Two pictures of Sabatini's - we didn't get there on this cruise so I can't offer an opinion on it but I hear it is quite nice. Crown Grill - don't forget to try the salt samples with your steak!
Rare nbsjcruiser Posted March 23, 2017 Author #32 Share Posted March 23, 2017 Next stop - St Thomas. We grabbed a bus downtown, did some sightseeing and shopping and then took a cab out to Secret Harbour for the afternoon. It was a hot day so Secret Harbour was the perfect beach break for the afternoon. From Havensight Dock A few pictures from the downtown shopping area My favourite stop :)

Rare nbsjcruiser Posted March 23, 2017 Author #34 Share Posted March 23, 2017 Secret Harbour - easily my favourite beach in St Thomas. Its always quiet with nobody hassling you - I mean nobody. There's a nice restaurant out here that serves cold beer and great food. You can rent chairs and umbrellas from the Dive Shop and its a nice quiet inlet - perfect for anyone to have a swim in. The building in the right of this photo is the restaurant and bar

AF-1 Posted March 23, 2017 #38 Share Posted March 23, 2017 I am going on my first Princess cruise in July. Is the wheelhouse bar like RCI Schooner Bar? By that, I mean; every Princess ship has the Wheelhouse Bar; like RCI every ship has Schooner's
Rare nbsjcruiser Posted March 23, 2017 Author #39 Share Posted March 23, 2017 I am going on my first Princess cruise in July. Is the wheelhouse bar like RCI Schooner Bar? By that, I mean; every Princess ship has the Wheelhouse Bar; like RCI every ship has Schooner's Well, the Regal and Royal have the Wheelhouse bar - its located directly outside the Crown Grill steakhouse. There's a piano there and often you'll find several people sitting there listening in. I'd say that Crooners Bar in the Piazza is more like the Schooner Bar to be honest. Rare nbsjcruiser Posted March 23, 2017 Author #40 Share Posted March 23, 2017 So on to Grenada. I really enjoyed our time in Grenada and it was a great stop to walk around. It was a bit cloudy that day and we did get a shower or two so our plan to just walk around was perfect for the weather. We walked through the tunnel and it was a tight fit with the cars passing by - had to pay attention in there.

Rare nbsjcruiser Posted March 23, 2017 Author #44 Share Posted March 23, 2017 On my way up to Fort George it began to rain which sent me scurrying looking for a plastic bag to put my camera in so I only got a couple pics from up top. After climbing back down from Fort George it was time to visit a local establishment for some refreshments and then back out for some more sightseeing The weather continued to be unpredictable Would take some dedication to climb that hill to go to church but we later saw several people doing that.
