Booking excursions on NCL

Hello, I am sailing for the first time on the Dawn this July. We have the daily shore excursion credit as part of the free offers. I'm assuming we'll get $150 total ($50/day in Bermuda). I also have another $300 in OBC. How can i book excursions ahead of time if I'm planning on using those credits?

 

Also, we are staying in a suite, how do we reserve specialty dining in advance?

Specialty dining and excursions can be booked by logging in to 'My NCL' and then 'Explore and Plan'.

If you want to use your credits, you need to either call the excursion desk (sorry, don't have the number off hand) or book on board.

If you book through myncl, it'll try and charge you.

Thanks! That's what's I was looking for. I don't want to book online and pay for it since I will have onboard credit.

 

When do you book reservations for dining? Can the concierge help us with that once onboard, or should we do that ahead of time?

The number is 1-866-625-1167. Call them and they should be able to help you reserve your excursions without pre-payment.

 

For dining, reservations open up 100 days before sailing, since you are in a suite. It's very easy to do on-line, and since you have a dining package, you won't have to pay anything in advance for that, either.

 

The concierge can help you with this on board, but if you wait until then, the most popular times may already be booked solid and you will be stuck choosing from the leftovers.

You should be able to book the specialty dining online for free if you have the SDP. We had a 4 meal perk and were able to book a la cartes and non-a la cartes ahead of time without paying.

From what I've read here on CC, using the shorex credit requires prebooking them by phone or else booking onboard. It appears you can't prebook them on the website as the credit is supposedly deducted from your shipboard account once you've gone on the excursion.
