Couple of Questions Before I Cruise

Hi - We are leaving in a few weeks for our cruise on Liberty and have a couple of questions:

I have several Carnival Gift cards. How do I apply them to my sign and sail card? The amount I have should cover our drinks and steakhouse dinner. Also if we have any credit left over do we get it back?

I see all ships have "the hub" app now. Do we have to get an internet package to use it?

Lastly - We want a table for two in the dining room. I emailed the Matre D last week but have not heard anything. Is there anything else I should do.

You do not need the internet package to use the hub app.

You may be able to apply your gift cards at check in, if not there are kiosks when you get on the ship or you can go to guest services. I have never had credit left over so maybe someone else can answer that.

When you board the ship go to the dining room and see the Maitre'd to be sure you have a table for 2.

Have a great cruise!

At some ports you can apply then when you check in. If not, just head over to Guest Services or use a kiosk to apply them to your S&S card. If you should have anything left (greater than $10) at the end of the cruise, Carnival will mail you another gift card with the amount on it, although some people have reported receiving checks for the amount. Alternatively, you can go to the casino on the last night, load the remainder to your Player's Bank at a slot machine, take a couple of pulls, and go to the cashier to cash out your Player's Bank.

I see all ships have "the hub" app now. Do we have to get an internet package to use it? You do not need an internet package to use the HUB app. If you wish to use the messaging features, though, that is $5 per device for the entire cruise.

Lastly - We want a table for two in the dining room. I emailed the Matre D last week but have not heard anything. Is there anything else I should do. Do you have fixed dining or YTD? If fixed, so see the Maitre D' on the first day and check on your request. If you have YTD, just ask for a table for only your party when you check in each evening.
