JMorris271 Posted April 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Does anyone know of a good way to transfer from Heathrow to Southampton?
jayne3031 Posted April 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Hi - the easiest way is probably a National Express coach. Depending on traffic its a couple of hours drive. This will take you to the main bus station and then you can get a taxi to the cruise terminal. http://www.nationalexpress.com/airports.aspx You could go by train, but I think you will always need to change trains which is a pain when you have luggage https://www.londontoolkit.com/travel/heathrow_southampton.htm
Rare Scrapnana Posted April 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2017 I use Smiths for Airports. I enjoy having someone meet me in arrivals, schlep my luggage, and take me to the door of my hotel in Southampton. Costlier than the train or the bus, it is still my method of choice. http://www.smithsforairports.com/index.html

Nice drivers and lovely, comfortable (I snoozed on the Heathrow to Southampton ride) cars. We had new Mercedes station wagons in both directions.
