Back to RCCL after 10 years

We are planning on going on a RCCL cruise after 10 years on Celebrity. The cruise will be on Navigator for a 5 day cruise in Dec. We have not been on that short of a cruise in a long time but it's a family thing and we will adapt. My question is what will we find different after 10 years? I know years ago we always thought that Royal had better show's and Celebrity had better food, is that still the same? How about menu's do they stay about the same as on Celebrity? I hear there's a lot of up selling on Royal and I'm sure there are more PA announcements. I'm sure we will have a great time but just looking for new tips.

Thank's

J.

Some changes on RC in the last 10 years.

No midnight buffet.

No price drops after final payment date.

Many discount/OBC combinations eliminated.

My Time Dining.

No smoking in stateroms including balconies.

No wearing of life jackets at muster.

Gratuities automatically added to your onboard account.

Two bottles of wine per stateroom allowed, no corkage fees anywhere on the ship.

IMO in the past ten years the ships have gotten bigger and more impressive and the overall quality has decreased at the same rate. Cutbacks in quality (in terms of food, service, uncharges for things that used to be free).
