Litre Water Bottles

Will my checked luggage be searched if the scanners see large water bottles in my checked luggage.

 

I want to pack four and they are too heavy for me to carry in my take aboard bag but I don't want my luggage delayed due to water bottles.

You have a good chance of having your luggage delayed if you put the water bottles inside.

 

If you don't want to carry them, put them in some luggage by themselves, or with items you don't mind being delayed.
