Kimblizz2 Posted April 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2017 We are cruising on RC Anthem of The Seas. We have chosen early seating but on 1 night there is a show we want to see that starts early. If we skip the early seating will we miss dinner in MDR?
CruiserBruce Posted April 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2017 Yes, but there are other places to eat on board. The better place for your research would be the RCI portion of Cruise Critic, located here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
taglovestocruise Posted April 19, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 19, 2017 Sounds like a good night for specialty dining or the buffet, happy cruising
Sequim88 Posted April 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2017 I would almost bet that talking to the dinning manager early in the day about doing a one-time any-time dinning would get you in at a later time. In general the staff will do anything they can, when possible, to make you happy. There is a chance, if the show is really popular and a lot of people want to dine later, that they might not be able to but it can't hurt to ask. Have the buffet as a backup plan - most have the same items available as the MDR menu.

They are usually pretty strict about this and will not switch you from My Time to traditional; too many people would ask. There are plenty of other options for dinner.
