LovetheCubs Posted May 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2017 In one of my other questions someone said my 6 year old wouldn't be allowed on the slides on MSC ships. Is this true? How do I find out information like this? I just want to be prepared and not have a melt down at the top of the steps if they turn her away!! Is it age or size based? Thanks in advance! Musthavewine Posted May 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 2, 2017 Following I too need to know this to prevent a complete melt down. My almost 6 yr old is the size of an 9 yr old didn't know if I should just lie and say she is older so she can go on it or not.
cellfree Posted May 2, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2017 Just off the Divina two weeks ago - the slide is based on height but I am sorry that I do not know what that height is.
OzCanuck Posted May 2, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 2, 2017 Last year I believe it was 8 years old and 48". Someone posted a photo of the sign here but I can't find it.
OneParticularHarbour 71 Posted May 2, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 2, 2017 If you watch Chubby and Away's MSC Divina Ship Tour video on YouTube, they show the slide rules. It looks like it says minimum height of 120cm /47.24 in. Under 7 yrs not allowed. Over 242.5 lbs not allowed. It is shown in the video around the 10 min mark.
