BOGO Specialty Restaurants

I've been searching on the boards and can't find the answer. Hopefully someone has experience with this and can help. I'd like to purchase the specialty restaurant bogo deal, but I really want to dine in a specialty restaurant on the first night. I usually go to the buffet the first night and like the go the restaurants later in the cruise. Has anyone had success in changing the bogo to a different night once onboard or are they very strict about the 1st night?

Purchased the BOGOF deal the first day on board mine for day 3 my wife`s for day 7 later changed to day 9 then to day 10. Each ship has it`s own rules ask as soon as you board.

Just so you know the BOGO deal may not be offered for sale on board. (I have not seen it on any of my cruises)

 

The reason it is a great price is that they are looking to fill the least popular days in the restaurants (day 1 and 2)
