Sapphire- Aft cabins??

We're looking at these for a Norwegian Fjord cruise next year. Have one in place for this summer but due to medical issues we're going to let it go (on Crown, B755).

 

Regarding the aft facing on Sapphire....

- D740/741- they are next to a large white space which is a concern. Any issues?

- C748/753- appears there is a stairwell next to cabin which spans from deck 12 down to 8 (or possibly 7). Perhaps for emergency use only, crew only? Albeit, we would rather not listen to a stairwell door open/close if this is used regularly by crew or pax.

Crew stairway. Not used very much and we have never heard the door.

 

C753/C748 are coveted balconies that are taken pretty quickly.

Those 2 would be my first choice!

 

On Dolphin deck I believe that space is large ventilation grates sometimes with fan noise.

Mine, too. We loved C753. Never heard any noise from the adjacent stairwell. It was used only on day one during muster drill
