MONKEY20 Posted May 8, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2017 Hi, We are booked on a cruise in August but my wife has just had a heart bypass op. We do not think she will be fit enough by August. What are p&o like for changing cruise to next year. Ian
daiB Posted May 8, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2017 They will change your booking but you have to take the cruise within a year and it has to be more expensive than the one you are not taking. I think there is a charge which may be waived but not usually. Hope that helps. I think you also have to use the same TA or method of booking. majortom10 Posted May 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2017 A lot depends on type of cruise fare you have booked if it is a Select fare they will allow you to change it if its a Saver fare then I very much doubt it they will just tell you to claim on your travel insurance. The only definitive answer will be to contact whoever you booked your cruise with P&O direct or a TA.
john watson Posted May 8, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2017 You might also be able to go down the cancellation of your cruise due to a medical condition and get a full refund. Your insurance policy and local GP will be able to help. Thereafter a new booking might be easier to do. Regards John
