onewildrice Posted June 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2017 I had $500 in gc and owed $250 for gratuities. I entered all 5 of the codes on my booking. Where will my overage show up on my account? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Gypsywych Posted June 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2017 (edited) It won't. You still have a balance on your gift card. You shouldn't be able overpay for your cruise to have OBC. Edited June 4, 2017 by Gypsywych Clarificatiom.
cccer Posted June 4, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 4, 2017 I think you will need to apply the gift cards on board to get the credit on your account. Go to guest services or a kiosk to apply them.
onewildrice Posted June 4, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted June 4, 2017 Ok thanks! I held onto them because I wasn't sure. I'll figure out which ones still have balances on them. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

cruise_everywhere Posted June 5, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 5, 2017 You can also have your gift cards applied when you check-in at the port. This is sometimes easier if you know they will be spent - the kiosks are good but can have lines at different times. We usually just take the easy way and have them do them at the port. I have a $500 gift card and want to apply $300 to one room, and $200 to another. Will they do this? Or can they just apply part of the gift card (i.e. just the amount of tips)?
