Motorcycle Gma Posted June 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Hello, we did this in 2014 & found the process quite easy. Idk which dock we were at, but there is a ticket stand towards the far left (while facing the main boukevard) as you depart the terminal. there is a full thread on the X80, do a forum search here & you'll find lots of answers. it's gone up to 4 E & thats roundtrip express to Acropolis. we got first bus & beat tge crowds to Acropolis. IT was so much easier tgan the train whivh is a LONG walk to find. We had no trouble getting the bus back after a visit to Acropolis museum. The stop was just down the block by the Temple of Zeus. The bus is seasonal so check that other thread. Have fun. Sorry about typos; iPad acting up!

Because I understand that the queues to buy tickets to Acropolis can be horrendous.
anthonyy7 Posted June 26, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2017 If your on the Royal then you will dock at gate E12 or terminal B which is the farthest out but easiest to find and get on the X80 bus. The bus starts running at 7 and will get you to the acropolis before any of the tours. By being on the first bus you'll beat the crowds and see the soldiers marching and raising the flag at the top. The day pass can also be used on the metro to go up to the archeological museum. Sent from my iPad using Forums
beaucajun Posted June 26, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 26, 2017 We took the X80 on June 17th. Real easy to find outside of terminal B. Right next to the taxi stand. There is an attendant in the booth selling tickets. 4.50 Euros. We were on the bus at 7:35 and at the Acropolis ticket stand for 8am. The bus drop off is 1 block from the south entrance near Haydrian's(sp) Arch. The return to ship is X80 bus stop is across the street on the Acroplis side of the main road. Real easy to find. We were 4 on the bus going to downtown and 4 on the return at 4pm. Just as an FYI, you can catch the X80 bus and they will drop you off at the X95 stop near the port to get to the airport. 10.50 euros each. If there ARE lines at the Acropolis, you could get your ticket at the Temple Of Zeus/Hadrians Arch where the bus drops you off. They sell the 2 part ticket there (good for entry both places) & there were no lines when we did this previously.
