cruisingbajan Posted June 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2017 We are considering this hotel for a pre cruise stay. Thoughts and suggestions from anyone who has stayed are welcome. Thanks in advance guys.
JohninDC Posted June 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2017 I have not stayed there, but have seen it mentioned a few times on this board. In general, MIA airport area hotels are okay if you are flying in late and just want a room for the night. La Quinta East is a budget option that is suggested much more often. Nicer hotels in a nicer area are found in the Blue Lagoon area near MIA. Have a great cruise!

JohninDC Posted June 11, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 11, 2017 Several hotels there - we've stayed at the Homewood Suites, but there is a Hampton Inn around the corner, plus Hilton and others. Shopping and dining nearby in a local strip mall -- across the street from the Hampton Inn.
Flymia Posted June 12, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 12, 2017 If you get in late and want a place to sleep, and nothing else, then around the airport is fine. Tons of options at different price levels. If you want to do anything other than sleep stay closer to the port in Downtown Miami or Brickell.
